Roderick Harper, the fast-rising New Orleans-based singer whose latest album Evolving sits among the Top 50 on Jazz Week’s Album Chart has released a new R&B flavored single entitled “Make it Last Forever” with an accompanying video.
The song will appear on Harper’s forthcoming EP Back to Love, and was written and composed by Harper along with two-time Grammy Nominated producer/singer Drew Scott. Scott has previously worked with Teyana Taylor, Zendaya, Luke James, Fantasia, Nick Jonas, Dawn Richard, K-Pop group Red Velvet and French Pop singer Tayc.
Building upon the success of Evolving the new EP expands Roderick’s music palette and features songs entitled, “Speechless” (featuring New Orleans Rapper/Lyricist, OG JLyric, “Back to Love,” and “Got To.” “I enjoy singing, period,” says Harper. “I perform all types of music. It’s my hope that everyone enjoys, everything I’ve present, so far. R & B music is just another side of me.”
