ATLANTA, GA- 3D Atlanta-based visual artist Amber Nicole will debut My Hair Speaks Volumes at the Distillery of Modern Art (DoMA) on March 3rd from 6:00 pm- 10 pm. Distillery of Modern Art combines a modern art gallery (Watson Gallery) and a cocktail lounge within a 2,800 sq. ft. event space located Southeast of the Sandy Springs neighborhood.
Nicole will feature work that utilizes notable vinyl records on blank canvases to create 3D visual art as an artistic representation of the beauty in black women and natural black hair. Nicole’s work will also feature multiple collaborations with ATL-based artist NO.ID. Both artists will highlight their creative niche through an array of mixed mediums while honoring musical artists including Prince, Michael Jackson, and Erykah Badu.
DoMA is the only craft distillery that delivers a full sensory experience by fully weaving artistic expression into every aspect of the brand, at every step along the way. In collaboration with local artists, both young and old, new and experienced, DoMA is bringing art to life and making it approachable in a whole new way.
Amber Nicole will be at DoMA on March 3rd, to walk and talk through the My Hair Speaks Volume installation. This collection will also be available for commission at www.ambernicole.studio.
