The One And Only “Dr. Damages Show.” Episode 431: Security Agents’ attack on IPOB gathering in Enugu

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)

What was supposed to be another quiet Sunday morning in Emene, a working-class section of Enugu, Nigeria, was disrupted when agents of Nigeria’s secret police, the DSS, stormed the venue where members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) gather each Sunday.

What followed could have been avoided if Nigerian security agents have respects to the basic principles of rights to peaceful assembly and peaceful protest. Dr. Damages in this special edition warns that until we condemn the penchant of Nigeria’s security agents to attack unarmed protesters, until we put a stop to it by holding them accountable, turn by turn we are all going to become Biafrans, Shia, Southern Kaduna people, Niger-Delta people and all those who have become victims of long-running and uncontrolled human rights violations of Nigerian security agents.

Dr. Damages also looks at the loopholes in the media coverage of the incident.
