Two Danish brothers have been convicted of killing a biracial man on the Danish island of Bornholm in June.

The body of 28-year-old Phillip Mbuji Johansen was found in a forest on the Baltic Sea island on June 23, after he had spent the evening drinking with the two suspects. He died hours later.

Mads and Magnus Moeller have been each sentenced to 14 years in prison for the murder.

Editors Note: Many, including Danish prosecutors, have claimed the killing of Johansen (who had some Tanzanian roots) was not racially motivated because he knew one of his murderers. Unfortunately, America is not the only country where whites like to deny racism.

In this case, these brothers have been connected to white supremacists. How can Danish authorities say there was no racist motive in the case when one of these murderers wears a swastika and both are known supporters of a far-right political group named the Hard Line? Black Lives Matter Denmark called Johansen’s murder a “racist copycat honor killing.”
