The unemployment rate, which is now 7.6%  is at its highest level in more than ten years.  In January, employers across the united states cut  over 500 million jobs.  This number  represents the single largest increase in the jobless rate since 1974 and there’s no light being seen at the end of the tunnel.  People are scrambling to find solutions to fill the gap in their finances.

A very compelling spin on this extravaganza is the $10,000 giveaway that some fortunate business owner, inventor, entrepreneur or aspiring business owner or the like, will be given a chance to walk off with for their business or idea. It will be a Live VC (Venture Capitalist) Pitch exercise where contestants must convince MoneyFest’s millionaire panel he or she has “what it takes.”

MoneyFest will also going to have a "Speed Dating" segment of sorts, where participants will be given a limited amount of time to pitch their idea or business to potential investors in quick one-on-one sessions.
