Money: Black Wealth Bootcamp

I am regularly asked, as a matter of business, how to raise money to start a new company.  Many of us start businesses in our community or have very good ideas, only to find that the money isn’t available, no matter how hard we try.

So, as part of The Black Wealth Bootcamp (which starts June 4), we open the door for students to learn how to raise money via crowdfunding.  But unlike popular opinion, crowd funding isn’t just a matter of posting something online and asking for money.  Instead, it is an intricate process that requires planning, knowledge and the ability to execute.

Our resident crowdfunding expert, Lanee Javet, was a frustrated single mom who was able to quit her job after raising $10,000 in 30 days to start her new business.

After pulling off this amazing feat, Lanee took the time to put together a powerful blueprint for those seeking to learn how to use crowdfunding as a way to raise money for their company.  You can join her course at this link, the first month is completely free of charge.

Lanee helps us to run BlackCrowdfunders.com, the crowdfunding site I had our tech team create for others seeking to gain funding for their projects.

I personally promote the campaigns on the site myself (via Facebook, Youtube and on our blogs) to help you find a way to earn the money you need to move forward.

Lanee is going to hold a Facebook livestream this Wednesday 5/25 at 9 pm EST on T’he Black Business School Facebook page.

You can join the livestream at this link.  If you don’t see the stream, just keep hitting the refresh button until you see Lanee speaking live.  You can go to the page now and hit the “like” button if you’d like.

If you’d like to join our next Black Wealth Bootcamp, you can do so at this link.   Classes start June 4th.

Until we meet again, please stay strong, be blessed, and be educated.

Sincerely,

Dr. Boyce Watkins
