Allstate’s McKoy Wins Award For Community Work

Allstate Insurance Agent Thurman McKoy, whose office is located at 162 West 72nd Street, Suite 500, has been awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to volunteering in the community.  With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Sickle Cell Thalassemia Patients Network, Inc., where McKoy volunteers. 

McKoy received this award as a result of his active membership and involvement with the Sickle Cell Thalassemia Patients Network, Inc. He has been a significant contributor to the program. John A. Kane, territorial distribution leader at Allstate, nominated McKoy. “Thurman is an active member of this community,â€? said Mr. Kane.  “He is a respected member of the business community, protecting people with insurance and financial services products. He also makes a point of getting involved personally by dedicating his time and efforts to making a difference in people’s lives. “Allstate believes that it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve.  Allstate is proud to support the Sickle Cell Thalassemia Patients Network, Inc., through the Allstate Foundation.â€?
