Beauty Marked Vintage, an online fashion boutique founded by Cherita Chavers, that combines modern-day style with a vintage prairie girl aesthetic.

Carefully curated, these classic garments stand apart thanks to their enchanting embellishments such as ruffles, puffy-sleeves, high collars, billowy silhouettes, and floral prints. Along with tailoring a sustainable way to stay stylish, Beauty Marked Vintage aims to insert diversity into the predominately white vintage community through the use of Black and other people of color models.

In 2015 Cherita found herself looking at a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear. Inspired to find a way to recycle her old pieces for new ones, the young student began styling and selling personal items to her close friends. Word of mouth traveled fast and shortly thereafter Cherita's hobby turned into a full-fledged business. Inspired by her Grandmother, Beauty Mark Vintage aims to connect buyers with clothing that combines mobility, personality, protection, and versatility.

Beyond her title as Beauty Marked Vintage's Founder, Cherita Chavers is an intellectual entrepreneur and student at Columbia College Chicago. Motivated to evolve, the Interdisciplinary student is studying Fashion Studies and Visual Arts Management, with a keen interest in understanding how clothing influences cultures socially and politically on a global level. She sees her brand as a community that shares a similar taste in clothing and is comprised of like-minded people who inspire to connect and make a significant change in the world.
