Cajou Creamery, a plant-based handcrafted ice cream brand founded by Chef Dwight Campbell and his wife Nicole Foster, (above) is now shipping its products nationwide.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, they are the nation's fastest-growing Black-owned dairy-free ice cream brand with exotic flavors like baklava, Mexican cacao, and sweet potato pie.
Dwight Campbell and Nicole, who is a public health attorney, started experimenting on dairy-free ice cream for their two children who love ice cream but couldn't really enjoy it because they are lactose-intolerant.
What started as a hobby at home turned into a thriving business in 2018.
