Latte Without Fat Woes

-A +A

Across the country, there’s one thing that consumers can be sure of when it comes to drinks. People love to buy drinks of all kinds, but especially those made from coffee.

It’s estimated that around 30 million American adults per day drink coffee specialty drinks like espresso, latte and iced coffee beverages. While that’s great for the coffee-guzzling consumers’ palates, it’s not always good for their waistlines.

Many of these popular drinks pack a powerful punch in the form of large amounts of calories and fat. This leaves health-conscious consumers in a Catch-22, because they want the flavor without the fat. Now there’s a new solution – Iced ’Spresso.

“I’m one of those people that love a good latte, explains Keith Chamish, president of NY Coffee Company (, “But I couldn’t enjoy them very often because those drinks are so high in calories and fat. So I decided to do something about it – I came up with Iced ’Spresso drinks.

Chamish took the coffee industry to a whole new level by coming up with his ready-to-drink, low-fat, low-calorie latte beverage called the Iced ’Spresso. Unlike other ready-to-drink coffee beverages available to consumers, Iced ’Spresso has no added sugar and is low in carbohydrates. It’s the perfect combination for those wanting flavor who are watching the scale and looking for convenience.

“The response to our drinks has been amazing, says Chamish. “People love the idea that they can indulge in the drinks they love, without the guilt of all the calories, fat and sugar. This is a drink you can have on any kind of diet.

For those who rely on their morning drink for a jolt of caffeine, there’s no need to worry. Iced ’Spresso contains about the same amount of caffeine as a normal cup of coffee. There are four mouth-watering flavors to choose from, including Mocha Mudslide, American Vanilla, and Caramel. That’s refreshing news to the 52 percent of American adults that drink some sort of coffee beverage on a daily basis.

“What better way to enjoy a latte than to know it's not ruining your diet or diverting you from your healthy lifestyle," adds Chamish. "A drink like this has been so highly anticipated that it's long overdue. This is something to get excited about."
