98.7 KISS and's Keys to Growing Any Business in 90 Days 2007 kickoff was a great success.  Over 500 small business owners, professionals and other entrepreneurs came out to the prestigious Enterprise Center at FIT in New York City to receive the invaluable information Dennis Kimbro, Author of “Think and Grow Rich – A Black Choice” and Andrew Morrison, Host of 98.7 KISS-FM’s "Money Making Mondays" and President of Small Business Camp, readily shared.

In addition to the plethora of information provided, there was also a business pitch competition, in which $5000 was given away to the 5 competitors with the best business presentations.  Judges for the Business Pitch competition included Kimberly Seals-Allers, Senior Editor, Personal Finance and careers for Essence Magazine, Alfred Edmund, Black Enterprise Magazine, Judy Kaplan, Crain's NY Business, Annette Irving, Vice President of Wachovia Private Advisory Banking, Kenneth Brown, McDonald’s Multiple Franchise Owner, Roy Hastick, Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce, Ramon Williamson, Business Coach and Lowell Hawthorne, CEO, Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery.  Attendees also received discounts on reservations for Morrison’s Small Business Camp.

Topics included How to Successfully Market Your Business, Training for the Future, How To Build a Website That Generates Sales, Team Building, and much more. “As a person who is at the start-up phase of my business, the event provided an opportunity for me to network with other entrepreneurs and to promote my business. I also may have landed a potential consulting opportunity,” stated Veanda Martin-Simmons Dynamic Visions a Black-belt in Karate & Self-Defense Presenter.”

The event was promoted across a wide range of media; including extensive coverage on one of the leading radio stations 98.7 KISS FM, Black Enterprise Magazine, Crain’s NY Business, Essence Magazine, Harlem Business Alliance, LC Associates, Winning Strategies & Associates, Phil Andrews’ Power Networking Series, AMAG, and more. 

Key industry organizations including Crain’s New York Business, AETNA and Palm Bay Wines played a big part in making the Keys To Growing Any Business in 90 Days a great success. The Keys To Growing Any Business in 90 Days will be building on monthly Small Business Boot Camp weekends in order to continue to launch and present an even more exciting symposium and membership program.
