As Vice President of Public Relations for The Professionals Network Organization (TPNO), Ms. Wyche will take charge of bringing The Professionals Inc. into the spotlight as a leader in social networking for ethnic professionals. Wyche is also Managing Editor for The Black Star News and Harlem Business News, where she brings solutionary information to empower African Americans and people of color.  Wyche covers business, politics, entertainment, general news and profiles extraordinary people who are working to make life better for our people.

Brenda Jeanne Wyche is a maverick in the business community.  As CEO of Winning Strategies & Associates, she brings compassion and an arsenal of experienced professionals to the world of small business development.  Wyche is also a proactive member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce – New York’s largest Chamber, and FraserNet worlwide network .

In the early 1990s, Wyche joined a revolutionary organization in East Harlem, NYC, named Playing2Win.  The program was developed to help level the playing field for African Americans and people of color who did not have access to computers.  The program was very instrumental in enlightening and empowering African Americans and people of color in the area of computer technology, resulting in acquisition of better jobs and improvement of overall economic adeptness in our society.  Wyche fell in love with the concept and the organization, and quickly joined the revolution, subsequently beginning her journey, evolving from DOS into the world of Windows technology.  Wyche eventually became a volunteer in the program, teaching and overseeing youth in computer operations and coaching in MS Word, resume writing and job readiness to adults.

In 1995, Brenda Wyche developed a crisis resource center in East New York, Brooklyn to address the needs of an impoverished, at-risk community.  Individuals and families with issues including, but not limited to domestic violence, substance abuse, unemployment and underemployment, came to Ms. Wyche for assistance, referrals, or just a listening ear or a shoulder.

Wyche later upgraded her technical studies to computer repair and LAN/WAN administration, staying on top of technology trends in order to strengthen and further educate the community in an empowerment initiative.

Brenda Wyche’s public relations journey began with the support, mentorship and friendships of Business Development Coach, Greg Jones.  “I’ll never forget the day I walked in Greg’s office in tears and he spread his wings and adopted me as his sister and sat with me for hours teaching me how to make lemonade out of an exceptionally sour lemon.  Greg adopted me as his sister that day, and he’s been my brother, friend and mentor ever since,” Wyche reminisced.  Wyche also attributes much of her success to  James Lisbon of AMAG/Awareness Magazine,  Phil Andrews of PA Public Relations, Lisa Washington of Black Business Circle, Anne Howard of RUSH PR in Canada, Tony Herbert, CEO of The Professionals Network Organization and Milton Allimadi, Publisher of The Black Star News, a hero in the struggle, Wyche’s great friend, mentor and guide.

“I thank God, for my friends and foes, who helped me achieve this level of success.  It is an honor and a privilege to serve this prestigious organization (The Professionals Network Organization (TPNO), founded by CEO, Tony Herbert who, through their empathy and generosity are taking the lead in the economic empowerment revolution,” stated Ms. Wyche.
