Profit By Removing Bottlenecks

-A +A

(Syndicated News) A major stumbling block for businesses that create a physical product is its inability to produce sustainable profit growth. Innovative business leader, Author, Educator and Production Guru Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt will meet with business owners and CEOs in San Diego to demonstrate how this problem can be solved.

"We’ve had repeated success showing companies a simple process for solving their production bottleneck problems," said Dr. Lisa Lang, Global Marketing Director for Goldratt Consulting. "And once we’ve improved their ability to supply, we pair it with a unique marketing program to boost demand. We’ve used this approach with everyone from the Marine Corps Maintenance Centers to manufacturers, often transforming a company’s current level of sales into their annual profit level in just four years."

Dr. Goldratt’s solution is based on the "Theory of Constraints", currently used by nearly 6% of companies worldwide. At the meeting, scheduled for January 12, he will document the theories and provide every attendee with an opportunity to participate in the "Viable Vision" offer, which incorporates the Theory of Constraints with a strategic marketing program.

The Theory of Constraints is based on the fact that a company, like a chain, is only as strong as its weakest link. "The approach requires companies to devote resources to fixing the point of breakdown in the process," Lang said. "That way, one part of the company isn’t holding everyone else back." From that point, Dr. Goldratt initiates the second phase of the Viable Vision, creating a marketing plan highly specific to the company and unique to its industry.

The "Viable Vision" is just one facet of Dr. Goldratt’s innovative and unconventional approach to business. A prolific author, educator, business leader and holder of many scientific patents, Dr. Goldratt is the author of "The Goal", an underground bestseller that also uses a non-traditional approach to convey business "best practices." It’s actually a business textbook written in a novel format, disguised as a love story. Regarded as "a slayer of sacred cows", Dr. Goldratt has worked with many of the world’s largest corporations, including General Motors, Procter & Gamble, AT&T and NV Phillips. He has been called a "guru" by Fortune Magazine and a "genius" by BusinessWeek.

Upcoming Viable Vision Offers: January 12 in San Diego, CA, USA; January 26 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and; January 31 in Frankfurt, Germany.
