Queens College, in partnership with Farmingdale State College, is offering an introductory non-credit bearing workshop, “Get Started in the Cannabis Industry,” designed for individuals who would like to learn more about opening, managing, or working in a cannabis business in New York State.

The two-part course—taking place on Saturday, June 11, and Saturday, June 18—is designed to provide an introductory understanding of the state’s cannabis industry.

Participants will gain insight into the cannabis industry through presentations by distinguished faculty from the Farmingdale State College School of Business and will have the opportunity to meet with leaders in the cannabis community, as well as successful entrepreneurs. They will also learn about the FSC Cannabis Production and Management Certificate Program and will earn a combined QC and FSC cannabis micro-credential digital badge at the end of the course.
