A new book of poetry, “Secrets of My Heart” by doris allimadi is creating a buzz because of its originality and modern way in which it is written.

The simple everyday language makes it easy to read and very relatable. “Secrets of My Heart” explores through poetry the wonder and pitfalls of love.

The book was published on July 8, 2009 by iUniverse.

The reception for the book has been overwhelmingly positive, says author Doris Allimadi.  “Enthusiasm in one’s work is the greatest reward,” she adds.

Susana Munisi, an Allimadi’s fan, says the collection is very honest and deeply moving.  “A lot of people, both male and female will relate to the situations in the poems,” she says.

Kata Botai, says this is the first poetry book she has ever read and understood because it is straightforwardly communicated. “It is a must buy for anyone who has ever loved and lost and loved again!” Botai says.

“Secrets of My Heart” is Ms. Allimadi’s second book. It’s available to order directly from iuniverse.com or through booksellers, amazon.com, amazon.co.uk and other online booksellers.

Her first book, “Mother Duck”, ISBN 1-84401-064-3 was published in 2004, by Athena Press and is available to order from athenapress.com, amazon.com or amazon.co.uk
