A new book of poetry, “Secrets of My Heart” by doris allimadi is creating a buzz because of its originality and modern way in which it is written. 

The simple everyday language makes it easy to read and very relatable. “Secrets of My Heart” explores through poetry the wonder and pitfalls of love.

The book was published on July 8, 2009 by iUniverse.

The reception for the book has been overwhelmingly positive, says author Doris Allimadi.  “Enthusiasm in one’s work is the greatest reward,” she adds.

Susana Munisi, an Allimadi’s fan, says the collection is very honest and deeply moving.  “A lot of people, both male and female will relate to the situations in the poems,” she says.
