The SITTING will be held at "For My Sweet" on Saturday afternoon, May 25, at 1103 Fulton Street at Claver Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238 Phone:(917) 757-0170 from 2 to 8 PM.

The VIEWING to be held on Monday morning, June 3, 2013 at Brown Memorial Baptist Church located at 484 Washington Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11238 Phone: (718) 638-6121 at 9:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the same place.

Blessings and peace upon his wife and children, and may his full and rich life of service to the community bring continued blessing and strength to the countless lives that he has touched. Long live our memories of his gentleness, his dedication to the task of uplifting humanity, his tenacity, willingness to remain in the background and push others forward to prominence and success.

He was always a man of positive action, from the days of the Ocean Hill-Brownsville School struggle to the Jazz Consortium and the Wholesale Food Cooperative.  He has left his indelible mark on the life and times of Brooklyn, New York State, and the world.
