On Saturday, September 18th, Crotona Park will again serve as the hosting site of the annual New York Unity Race 5K, a meandering course through historic Crotona Park which is sure to challenge experienced athletes and regular members of the public alike.

The New York Unity Race 5K starts at 10am, Saturday, September 18. Race time is 10 am; Pre-register online or same day registration starts 8-9:30 am. Crotona Park is located at 1700 Crotona Avenue Bronx, NY 10457

The race is in its 7th year and is part of a community project geared towards developing stronger relationships between the community and law enforcement. The 3.1 mile (5K) race along a predetermined course is organized by Crotona Park Running Club, Inc. under the leadership of long-time city worker and community organizer, Abiodun Bello.

The race is free to the general public and is provided through generous support from the offices of Councilmember Vanessa Gibson and Assemblymember Latoya Joyner..
