Dear Comrades and Friends,
The Black Alliance For Progressive Media presents a forum titled, The Truth About Israel's Invasion of Gaza, on Friday, August 8th, at 6:30PM at the historic Dr. John Henrik Clarke House. Clarke House is located at 286 Convent Ave. bet. 141st and 142nd Sts.
Speakers will expose the real history of this tragic conflict and challenge the myths that we are fed daily by corporate media.
The conditions that caused this war are never fully discussed. The voice of the Palestinians is seldom heard and even less respected in corporate media. Israel, with the political and military support from the United States and the assistance of corporate media, has limited the parameters of discussion on this issue while conducting a policy of ethnic cleansing against the people of Gaza as the whole world watches.
An issue that never gets discussed is the treatment of large numbers of Africans who have been jailed or detained by the Israeli government.
Speakers include:
Lamis Jamal Deek, Al-Awda NY, Palestinian Right to Return Coalition
Bill Dores, Al-Awada NY, International Action Center
Charles Barron, Fmr. NYC Councilmember
(The only U.S. elected official who has been to Gaza)

Milton, are you denying or finding it insignificant that the TPLF attacked a federal army base...
