Human Rights Attorney Roger Wareham representing the December 12th Movement “We Ain’t Going Nowhere” campaign is set to file a Complaint in NYS Criminal Enforcement and Financial Crimes Unit against the housing developers at 410 Nostrand Avenue, in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn on Wednesday May 30.

In its campaign to ensure affordable, quality housing for the Black residents of Bedford-Stuyvesant, the December 12th Movement has discovered that the newly-constructed premises at 410 Nostrand Avenue has falling bricks and lacks a Certificate of Occupancy. The commercial, residential building which is offering condominiums for $775,000 is the tip of the iceberg of developer abuse in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the group says.

The December 12 Movement will meet in front of the New York State Attorney General’s office at 55 Hanson Place, Brooklyn, NY, at 12 noon.
