NY Gubernatorial Candidate Nixon Joins Rochester Supporters in Ballot Bid

Democratic candidate for governor Cynthia Nixon will visit Rochester on Sunday to join volunteers and disability rights groups to kick off their petitioning effort in Western New York ahead of the July 12 petition submission deadline.

The 1:30 PM event at 50 Beach Ave, Rochester, NY 14612, led by Disability Action for America, will feature food, games, art projects, and petition training for community members. Disability Action for America, a national organization committed to electing leaders who value disability rights, announced their endorsement of Cynthia this week and plan to organize events across the state to get Cynthia on the Democratic line on the primary ballot.
