Hip Hop legend, MC Lyte will appear on BlogTalkRadio’s “The Phenomenal Women Show,” with host, Michelle Mitchell on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 at 9:00 pm EST. The Grammy nominee and VH1 Hip Hop Honors honoree, best known for her debut hit single, “I Cram to Understand U (Sam)”, and the No. 1 track, [I Need A} “Ruffneck,” will share insight on her tackling of the prevailing sexist issues against women in the Hip Hop arena and how through her groundbreaking lyricism, she created a portal for women to enter the world of Hip Hop with less barriers.  Such A-listers as Queen Latifah and Missy Elliott have since gained stardom pursuant to those feats.  

The multi-talented diva has been featured on prime time television in, “In Living Color,” “In The House,” “New York Under Cover,” “The District,” and most recently, CW11’s “My Wife and Kids” and Ky, the hard-nosed record label executive on UPN 9’s “Half & Half.”
