Rush bin Limbaugh Snaps And Joins Taliban

"Our president is a worldwide joke," Limbaugh corpulently declared on his hate-broadcast show. "Something has happened here that we all agree with the Taliban and Iran with. That he doesn’t deserve the award. Now that’s hilarious. That I’m on the same side of something with the Taliban; and that we all are. One the same side as the Taliban."

The personal animus towards the nation’s first African American president by people such as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck has, unfortunately, caused them to lose their mental bearings. They see every setback suffered by the United States as a personal slight against the president–something they look forward to celebrating.

Both of these major hate-broadcasters already had delicate mental conditions to begin with and both have admitted to being in the process of recovering from substance abuse. Sometimes, their utterances raise questions about how far they have come along in their recovery, which must be an arduous and painful journey.

If that’s what’s causing these individuals to display so much vehement America-hatred then their employers should take some action. How else would one explain Limbaugh’s reaction to the announcement that the Norwegian Noble Awards Committee had chosen Obama for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize honor?

“Our president is a worldwide joke,” Limbaugh declared on his hate-broadcast show. “Something has happened here that we all agree with the Taliban and Iran with. That he doesn’t deserve the award. Now that’s hilarious. That I’m on the same side of something with the Taliban; and that we all are. One the same side as the Taliban.”

Hilarious? What is funny about the Taliban and the destruction it has caused in Afghanistan and in Pakistan? What is funny about the loss of lives of American servicemen and women, which continues in Afghanistan, almost on a daily basis now? Maybe Limbaugh can explain that to the parents of the servicemen and servicewomen.

It’s one thing to oppose U.S. policy in both Iraq and in Afghanistan, but to chortle and make such flippant remarks on air about the Taliban?

Equally obnoxious was Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele’s reaction to Obama’s award. “The real question Americans are asking is, ‘What has President Obama actually accomplished?'” Steele, who is extremely envious and jealous of the president –he once compared himself to Obama– said.

Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh act like secret foreign agents out to undermine the United States.

Shortly after Barack Obama’s historic victory to become president, Limbaugh declared outright months ago of Obama, “I don’t want this to work—I hope he fails.”

He said this at a time when the United States was still teetering on the brink of economic collapse. Even top economists suggested at the time that not only a recession but a depression was possible.

So as the president huddled with his top economic advisers to devise a plan to prevent economic and financial calamity, Limbaugh, champion of Right wing nuts and assorted collection of racists declared that he hoped the president “failed.”

That was months ago. The president pursued an unpopular program and injected hundreds of billions of dollars into the economy. Limbaugh’s prayers were not answered. The rate of job losses has dropped dramatically; from a catastrophic 700,000-plus a month to 200, 000-plus and economic productivity is slated to expand at more than 3% in the next quarter. Money had fled the exchanges but now the Dow is surging back towards 10,000, and while unemployment remains unacceptably high, most indicators prove that the world has much more confidence in Obama than in Limbaugh.

When the United States failed in its bid to win the 2016 Summer Olympics for Chicago, both Limbaugh and Beck celebrated this blow to America and loss of potential jobs for Chicago. They joined other America-haters including those at The Weekly Standard where editors reportedly cheered when the news of America’s loss was announced.

Limbaugh may not have realized it, but he really is on the same side as the Taliban in more ways than he thought.
