The Nets trade of Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks further exposes this failure of an organization.

Many are bashing Kyrie for the breakup with the Nets after recent contract negotiations went nowhere. This is very easy to do since the establishment media magnifies everything than can be perceived—whether it’s true or not—as negative that Kyrie does.

Those who are inclined to just blame Kyrie, should remember before the season started Kevin Durant also requested a trade. Moreover, it was reported Durant wanted former coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks fired.

During the idiotic controversy, regarding Kyrie’s tweeting of an allegedly anti-Semitic film, the Nets used that opportunity to batter Kyrie for what they were really mad at him for.

What is really going on here?

The Nets ownership (under Joe Tsai) have wanted to punish Kyrie ever since he refused to take the COVID vaccine.

When Kyrie refused to take the vaccine, the Nets took a “my way or the highway” approach when Kyrie said he would be available to play in the traveling games. The Nets ownership\management told Kyrie no—only to embarrass and reverse themselves when they saw the season slipping away.

The bad blood between the Nets and Kyrie Irving was set then. That is why it is being reported, by the New York Post, that Nets owner Tsai decided he would not trade Kyrie to the Lakers, for a reunion with LeBron.

It was the final spiteful move from a failed owner. The faithful fans of Brooklyn deserve better.
