NBA: One Year Later After COVID-19 Shutdown Season

One year ago, today, the NBA suspended its season amid growing concerns about COVID-19  after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus. Gobert has since recovered as is the NBA.

On March 11, 2020, the NBA suspended the rest of its season indefinitely and declared that it would go into a hiatus.

It all began with a Utah Jazz player testing positive for COVID-19, which forced the postponement of the team’s game against the Thunder in Oklahoma City.
