UK pay-TV broadcaster BT Sport has agreed a multi-year deal to become the home of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) from this year.
The three-week Twenty20 cricket tournament gets underway on 26th August as the Guyana Amazon Warriors take on the Trinbago Knight Riders.
English all-rounder Ravi Bopara is among those playing in the competition, which will also feature New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips, South African Faf du Plessis and former Pakistan international bowler Mohammed Amir.
The deal comes after BT recently agreed a multi-year media rights deal to televise all domestic and international cricket from the West Indies. Read rest here.
