NASCAR's Bubba Wallace is pushing back against the racially divisive tweet that was posted by Donald Trump.

On Monday, Trump tweeted "Has @BubbaWallace apologized to all of those great NASCAR drivers & officials who came to his aid, stood by his side, & were willing to sacrifice everything for him, only to find out that the whole thing was just another HOAX? That & Flag decision has caused lowest ratings EVER!"

Wallace in a tweet apparently encouraging young Black people to follow their dreams also responded to Trump's race-baiting:

"Your words and actions will always be held to a higher standard than others. You have to be prepared for that. You don't learn these things in school. You learn them from trials and tribulations, the ups and downs this crazy world provides. You will always have people testing you. Seeing if they can knock you off your pedestal. I encourage you to keep your head held high and walk proudly on the path you have chosen. Never let anybody tell you can't do something! God put us here for a reason. Find that reason and be proud of it and work you tails off every day towards it! All the haters are doing are elevating your voice and platform to much greater heights!

"Last thing, always deal with the hate being thrown at you with LOVE! Love over hate every day. Love should come naturally as people are TAUGHT to hate. Even when its HATE from the POTUS."

In a statement, NASCAR reiterated their support for Wallace:

“We are proud to have Bubba Wallace in the NASCAR family and we commend his courage and leadership. NASCAR continues to stand tall with Bubba, our competitors and everyone who makes our sport welcoming and inclusive for all racing fans.”

LeBron James and Magic Johnson also tweeted their support for Wallace.

James tweeted "Right HERE too with you!! As well as the next generation who follows in my foot steps! Kings and Queens."

Magic tweeted ".@BubbaWallace keep your head up, you’re doing a great job! We are all proud of you, cheering for you, and we got your back!"

Of course, the rabidly racist Trump's characterization of the NASCAR noose controversy as a hoax allows him to do what he does best: sow racial division and promote his culture wars.

His attacks against NASCAR and Bubba Wallace are very similar to his attacks against the NFL and Colin Kaepernick, regarding the supposed hatred for the flag and troops. But while he pretends to care about the troops, Trump has said nothing regarding intelligence reports that Russia was offering bounties for the heads of dead American soldiers.

Trump is clearly trying to provoke a racist backlash regarding NASCAR's decision to remove the Confederate Flag in the hopes that it will help him get re-elected come November.
