Male-dominated sports like football/soccer, cricket, rugby, and baseball garner most of the attention; however, there is a place where women are stealing the spotlight, and that is in track and field.
A trio of women winners for Jamaica have the sports world paying attention.
I’m talking about Team Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, and Elaine Thompson-Herah, who swept gold, silver, and bronze in the 100-meter sprint on day three of the World Athletics Championships Oregon22.
