[Editorial]

A Trump supporter came to the so-called "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) rally that drew thousands of people to Washington, D.C., with a sign that read"Coming for Blacks and Indians First Welcome to the New World Order."

Apparently no one at the march found it appalling since the person bearing the sign wasn't told by others to put it away since that sign didn't represent the sentiments of the marchers. Of course it did.

After all the people at the march were a small slice of the  71 million who voted for a racist in chief in the White House who has demonstrated on numerous occasions his animus toward non-European Americans.

We wonder how self-haters like Kanywe West, Ice Cube, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and the other people of African descent who either endorsed, supported, or flirted with Trump feel about this. It's not as if the rascal has ever hidden his animus toward non European Americans.

It's fitting that Donald Trump's White House tenure should end on this note, a grand farewell party to the Grand Wizard by his myopic followers who are willing to suspend reality and believe his nonsense claims that he is the winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential elections.

This is the miscreant who launched his presidential bid by demonizing Latinos by saying Mexicans were rapists, drug dealers, and murderers. He continued to malign as rapists, the five young men who were wrongfully convicted of sexually assaulting a White woman while they were teenagers--the so called Central Park Five case. This was long after the men, who were incarcerated for years, had been exonerated by DNA evidence and had settled a lawsuit with New York City for nearly $50 million.

After Heather counter-marcher at the rally organized by racists in Charlottesville was killed, President Trump said there had been "decent" people on both sides. As president he introduced the Muslim ban, a blanket prohibition of travel to the U.S. from several predominantly Muslim countries. Then in Rep. Ilhan Omar--who is a woman, Black, and Muslim--an immigrant from Somalia, Trump found the perfect target for his racism, Islamophobia, and misogyny.

He repeatedly tweeted that Ilhan should "go back" to her country and not tell Americans how to run this country. Ilhan is a classy woman and never reminded the fool that his own ancestors came from Germany, a country that plunged the world into two major wars and produced Adolf Hitler and Nazism.

Yes, let the racist in chief have his farewell from his deluded followers including those who blame their economic woes on non-European Americans, instead of the nation's wealthy elite--Trump's true friends--who have concentrated wealth within their narrow community and destroyed this country's middle class.

Why is Trump getting his acolytes to organize a rally such as yesterday's? He knows that protests and useless lawsuits won't reverse the outcome of the presidential election.

He's sending a signal to prosecutors in New York City where he faces serious charges related to his many business misdeeds that he has the power to be disruptive and that he shouldn't be prosecuted. It's a pathetic strategy and he will discover on the afternoon of January 20, 2020 that he's not above the law.
