Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams received a key mayoral endorsement from the powerful hotel workers union Tuesday — the second big stamp of approval from a labor union in the race so far.

The Hotel Trades Council of New York, which represents more than 31,000 members who live in the city, announced it would be backing Adams Tuesday afternoon in a statement from Rich Maroko, its president.

“Eric has been crystal clear about his support for protecting workers and for preserving and promoting good hospitality jobs during the pandemic recovery and beyond,” Maroko said in a written statement.
