In “Georgia Makes History”, Render’s narration combined with iconic images of Georgia’s past and present, paint a picture of the strong and extraordinary legacy of Georgia that has been shaped by diverse communities from the start. In the PSA, Render evokes that history saying:

“Most importantly: we win elections. We just proved that in November. So let’s do it again NOW. It won’t be easy, but making history never is. We’ve marched in the streets, sat at lunch counters in Georgia to fight for the soul of our entire country. To fight for everyone’s right to vote. We’ve made necessary, good trouble. Y’all. Let’s make history again, Georgia.”

Render has been a visible and vocal champion for voting rights for years and hopes his participation in this project will not only remind people of their power, but also shine a light on the organizers and organizations working to broaden participation in the democratic process in Georgia.
