Voices, a service of Black-owned greeting card brand Culture Greetings dedicated to elevating social justice causes, proudly announces a new collaboration with The George Floyd Memorial Foundation.

The partnership will launch a new postcard-sending campaign to demand a fair trial and support the family and friends of the late George Floyd.

”The George Floyd Memorial Foundation, founded by George Floyd’s sister, Bridgett Floyd, is committed to obtaining justice for Mr. Floyd and others who were murdered by members of law enforcement,” explains Jacari Harris, executive director of the George Floyd Memorial Foundation. “Through this partnership with Voices by Culture Greetings, individuals can hold city officials accountable during the upcoming trial of the Minneapolis police officer who killed Mr. Floyd through a postcard campaign. We urge everyone to be a champion for justice by sending a postcard to help us be the change that we wish to see.”

The postcards card will feature an original illustration by Cameron Jones and is exclusively available on the Voices by Culture Greetings platform. Users can sign each postcard that features a call to action prewritten by the foundation. In one click the postcards will be mailed directly to a list of prefilled recipients, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Judge Peter Cahill and the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office.

“It is an honor to launch our Voices by Culture Greetings platform with this transformative campaign,” said Dr. Dionne Mahaffey, founder of Voices and Culture Greetings. “The death of George Floyd sparked an increased sense of activism in our country, and through this campaign, we will continue the movement toward transforming the narrative around police brutality and the repercussions of their criminal actions. Together we encourage the community to continue to push for justice and support the family as they step into this new chapter.”

The Voices platform expands the Culture Greetings brand, specifically focusing on easing the execution of social justice and change-maker campaigns like Justice for Elijah McLain, Freedom for Matthew Rushin, and many more. Continuing the Culture Greetings flagship model, postcards on the Voices platform can be easily signed and sent directly to a targeted group of recipients via postal mail the following business day. All cards purchased through the Voices platform donate 10% to any cause using the Daily Karma network, which include organizations like Black Lives Matter, Black Girls Code, and more.
