On Friday, April 16th, at 6p.m. at Black Lives Matter Plaza at 16th & I Sts. NW, there will be a rally against racist police terror and over-policing!

Justice for Daunte Wright, Dominique Williams, James Johnson, Anthony Louis, and all victims of police murder!

Three more Black men have been murdered by police in and around Washington D.C. in the past two weeks. Dominique Williams and James Johnson were shot in the back by off-duty Pentagon cop David Dixon in Takoma Park, Maryland. Dixon previously assaulted a homeless Black woman with a shotgun and has pulled a gun on people in traffic – all with no consequences.

Anthony Louis was tased to death by US Park Police and Alexandria PD in Southeast DC after jumping over an embankment to escape these officers determined to kill.

These murders are happening in a context where the eyes of the country are glued to the trial of George Floyd’s killer and while cops just continue their killing spree by shooting Daunte Wright dead in a racist and pointless traffic stop 10 miles away from that courtroom.

The Party for Socialism and Liberation DC is demanding justice for those killed by police, including so many in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. The PSL demands that the police who committed these vicious and racist assaults be held accountable, and be jailed, sentenced, and convicted of murder!
