New video shows an NYPD officer repeatedly punching a Black man in the head during an arrest in a lower Manhattan subway station this week.

The video posted to YouTube was taken at the South Ferry subway station in the Financial District on Tuesday evening, according to the Daily News.

Police escorted the man—reportedly 50-year-old Alex Lowery—from the station around 6 p.m. after he was caught smoking a cigarette in the station, according to the report.
