A newly released video of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery shows him being murdered, in Georgia, while jogging.

The perpetrators of this heinous act took Arbery’s life on February 23. Yet, these white killers remain free—because of the closeness between them and the local authorities.

In the video, Arbery is seen jogging before he is confronted by the person who would fatally shoot him: Travis McMichael, 34, the son of Gregory McMichael, 64. The McMichaels followed Arbery in a vehicle getting in front of him before Travis McMichael confronted Arbery with a shotgun.

In the video, Arbery is seen struggling with Travis McMichael—after he was confronted by this armed white maniac. Then he was shot dead. As this deadly struggle was taking place, Gregory McMichael is seen in the back of the truck with his gun.

Why did these white homicidal killers confront the unarmed Arbery?

The McMichaels claimed they believe Arbery was a burglar. In a pair of 911 calls, (the name or names of the callers have been withheld) a complain is made about an alleged trespasser. In one of the calls, the complainant says, “There’s a guy in the house right now; it’s under construction.”

Tellingly, there was no response to an important question asked by the 911 dispatcher: “I just need to know what he was doing wrong. Was he just on the premises and not supposed to be?”

The non-answer to this was “he’s been caught on camera a bunch at night. It’s kind of an ongoing thing.” Soon after, the 911 caller states the real reason for their white annoyance with Arbery “He’s done run into the neighborhood again.”

Here we see the real rationale that led to Arbery’s death: A Black man who has “done run into the neighborhood again.” This is the “ongoing thing” that was an outrage to these white scum.

Clearly, if Arbery had been “caught on camera a bunch at night” burglarizing or doing any kind of criminal activity the police would have been called. However, since Arbery’s only offense is that he would regularly jog past their homes this is likely why they never called police on any of those occasions where he was “caught on camera a bunch at night.”

An important point these local authorities must be made to clarify is this: were these 911 calls made by the McMichaels? The identity of the callers was reportedly redacted. If the McMichaels made those calls this must be revealed.

If the McMichaels made the calls why are we not being told? Who decided to do this?

If they made these calls the question would be why the McMichaels did not wait for the police? The 911 dispatcher had told them police were on the way.

The Glynn County police investigated this case and decided not to make any arrest. Gregory McMichael was a former cop—with the Glynn County police.

Local prosecutors decided not to charge the McMichaels for this cold-blooded act of murder. Gregory McMichael was an investigator with the local district attorney’s office.

This tells us everything we need to know. These “rule of law” folks are covering up for the murderers of Ahmaud Arbery

News reports now say there will be a grand jury to hear this case. If it wasn’t for the outrage on social media and elsewhere this case would’ve been swept under the rug. If Arbery had been white, and the McMichaels Black, they would’ve been locked under the jail the same day.

Two prosecutors have already recused themselves because of their close ties to the McMichaels. In her recusal, Brunswick DA Jackie Johnson cited her working with Gregory McMichael for 20 years. Ware County DA George E. Barnhill, who was first assigned to the case, recused himself after the Arbery family spoke out about his family connection to Gregory McMichael.

However, before recusing himself, Barnhill opined an excuse for the murder of Arbery saying, that the McMichaels had “solid first hand probable cause” that Arbery was a burglary suspect. Barnhill never specified how he reached his biased conclusion.

Barnhill also said this “It appears their intent was to stop and hold this criminal suspect until law enforcement arrived. Under Georgia Law, this is perfectly legal.”

Notice the obvious partiality Barnhill shows calling Arbery “this criminal suspect.” Here we have a prosecutor showing his favoritism likely because the accused is Black—and the accusers are his white buddies. This is another example of the institutional racism that is deeply rooted in America’s “justice” system.

The McMichaels are probably getting legal advice from their local friends in the law enforcement and legal communities. Prosecutor Barnhill’s prejudicial statements above are probably what led the McMichaels to be now claiming they were supposedly trying to make a citizen’s arrest.

However, common sense tells us the McMichaels’ charges are baseless. What is Arbery supposed to have stolen from an open construction site, while jogging?

If Arbery had been driving, they could, perhaps, claim he was stealing building supplies and loading it in a vehicle. And since no sane person would leave small valuables on a construction site their burglary accusation is bogus.

Again, the 911 tapes tell us the story. These white folks were complaining about this Black man who “done run into the neighborhood again.” Their white neighborhood.

Gregory McMichael likely knew that as a former cop, and court investigator, he could criminalize this innocent Black man—and even murder Ahmaud Arbery and get away with it.

So far, since he and his son still remain free, he is being proven right.
