One day before the world witnessed video releases from the Memphis Police Department showing the brutal police beating that took the life of 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, a Black double amputee was killed by police in Huntington Park, California.

Last Thursday, 36-year-old Anthony Lowe, a double amputee, was reportedly shot at least ten times--allegedly, including bullets to the back.

Lowe was said to have lost both his legs in an accident around a year ago. Police were called to the area after it was alleged that Lowe had stabbed someone.

On a bystander video, police are seen pursuing Lowe, who moved away from police after exiting his wheelchair. The police eventually shoot Lowe to death.
