NY Politicians Fernández and Bailey to Host George Floyd Vigil

in memory of George Floyd on the one year anniversary of his death.

THE BRONX -- Tomorrow, New York Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernández and New York State Senator Jamaal Bailey (NY-36) will bring together elected officials, community leaders, clergy members, and advocates in memory of George Floyd on the one year anniversary of his death.

Together, they will call on the federal government to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act and the Andrew Kearse Act. The community vigil in honor of George Floyd will take place at Bronx Park East, Between Allerton Avenue and Britton Avenue.

It starts at 7: 00 PM.
