The community organization Problac returned again to Omaha Police Headquarters Sunday night to protest the shooting death by police of Kenneth Jones, by police officers Dan Faulkner and Richard Martier, above, last Thursday.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Problac made a link between the confrontation between Omaha Police and Jones, who police say was armed with a loaded handgun, and the arrest of Roberto Silva, Jr. for a mass shooting in Bellevue on Saturday night.

“We are sick and tired.” said Problac co-founder Markell Riley.

Riley wondered why a suspect in a mass shooting can be arrested without incident, while Jones was shot to death during a struggle with Omaha police.

“He (Silva) was taken into custody,” said Riley. “He was able to smile and his mug shot, and was alive and, unfortunately, a couple of days ago that was not the case for Kenny.
