The same people who supported Jonas Savimbi and UNITA for 25 years trying to destabilize the government of Angola are supporting Yoweri Museveni for the same reason; access to vital raw materials in Uganda, eastern Congo and South Sudan. Savimbi was financed by the CIA and the apartheid South Africa regime. The United Nations is not an independent organization with its own agenda.
It is used as a cover for U.S. policy when the Americans don't want to be directly involved. A glaring example of this is the U.N. occupation of Haiti which is nothing but the Americans throwing the rock and then hiding its hand.
Milton, are you denying or finding it insignificant that the TPLF attacked a federal army base...
